Automated meter reading is fast becoming the new standard for metering for gas, electric and municipal utilities around the country. As utilities decide to retire older meters in the field, Southern Cross is often tapped to perform the AMR installations and ongoing maintenance.  In just the last decade, Southern Cross has installed or performed maintenance on hundreds of thousands of meters. In addition to installs and maintenance, Southern Cross technicians can also perform regular meter reads.
